Welding hose sets and gas fittings

Gas welding and cutting equipment uses a thread convention most trade buyers know well: right-hand threads on oxygen connections, left-hand threads on fuel gases. That distinction exists to prevent the wrong gas being connected to the wrong regulator, and the convention is consistent across standard UK and European equipment.
