This hose is a lightweight PVC hose, reinforced with a rigid crush resistant white PVC helix. It is tough, flexible and extremely durable under normal operating conditions. The cross section is maintained even when highly flexed. Minimum frictional loss is achieved by the smooth bore. The corrugation in the hose gives it strength and flexibility, allowing you to turn tight corners without it kinking.
