What's the difference between a hose and ducting?

A hose carries fluid, water, oil, air, or chemicals under pressure or suction. Ducting moves air, fumes, or loose material at low pressure, typically in ventilation or extraction systems. Both use flexible construction, but the materials, wall thickness, and pressure ratings differ depending on the application.

Can I buy individual lengths, or do I need to buy a full reel?

We sell hose by the metre as well as in full reel lengths. Cut lengths are available across most of the range, which works equally well for a one-off repair or a full installation.

How do I know which hose is rated for my application?

Do I need special fittings for each hose type?
