Hose Assemblies

A hose assembly is a length of hose with end fittings attached, ready to connect straight into your system without cutting, crimping, or fitting on site. The Hosemaster stocks pre-built assemblies for hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial applications and can supply custom assemblies to your specification.

Our hose assemblies are available in a variety of pre-cut lengths, so it’s easy to select the hose assembly that fits your particular requirements. Of our air hose assemblies, we have assemblies with different couplings and adaptor ends, including XF couplings, Vertex couplings, 100 series couplings and others.

Why Buy an Assembly Instead of Building Your Own

The case for a pre-built assembly comes down to reliability and time. A hose that's been correctly crimped or swaged in a controlled environment, pressure tested to its working rating, and supplied with matched end fittings is more reliable than field-assembled connections, particularly on high-pressure hydraulic systems where a poorly fitted end is a safety issue, not just a leak.

For hydraulic applications, this matters most. Hydraulic hose assemblies need to be built to the SAE and EN standards that govern the industry. The crimp dimension has to be right for the hose and fitting combination, and that's not something you dial in on a job site with a hand tool. For lower-pressure industrial and pneumatic applications, the reliability argument is less critical, but speed and convenience still apply. Receiving a finished assembly with the correct end configurations saves fitting time and removes the risk of mismatching hose and fittings from different sources.
