Bauer couplings for agricultural and civil engineering

The Bauer coupling is a large-bore lever-lock fitting used across agriculture, civil engineering and water management. The design uses a hinged locking ring that clamps the male and female halves together — quick to connect and disconnect in field conditions, and secure enough to hold under the flow rates and pressures typical in agricultural and civil work.

Galvanised steel is the standard material, chosen for its resistance to the abrasion and UV exposure that come with outdoor use in agriculture and construction. The coupling is sized to handle the large-bore hoses used in irrigation, dewatering pumps and slurry transfer — applications where you need high flow and frequent reconnection.

Compatibility between manufacturers is generally good, but not universal. Most Bauer couplings conform to a broadly common standard, but check coupling-to-coupling compatibility if you are mixing makes across a system.
